hehehe... if you call them ah... they will ask you do the following,

1. shutdown your pc and your modem then restart again.
2. then ask you to plug out your network cable and replug again.
3. do direct connection from the port to your modem.
4. then they ask your dsl link stable or blinking...

imagine lah everything we call that's the SOP (standing operatin procedure) so if the session hang also which is their fault, they need to reset the system and we are still required to do all the above... damn stupid lah tmnut...

How about we start a league? Two types one team base and another individuals, divided into groups. Top 2 in each group meet in crossover semi finals best of say 10 races. Then a final and playoff for 3rd and 4th. Prizes for 1st to 4th.

For teams top drivers are team leader then the rest are pooled and we draw to find which group they go into.

Willing to sponsor 1 prize say price of 1 game for individual. Team maybe we have medals and trophy and do it annually? Anyway open to ideas

for the modem blinking problem... just get new one cause my streamyx come with modem also have same problem every 7pm start blinking twikle twikle little star~~ then 1 day the thunder blast my modem boom!! not blinking anymore the 3 light just hang in there without blinking me and my bro go get new one then nothing happen when we get the new modem is was smooth~~~ cheap but smooth~~

Well that's where the team competition could work in your favor, teamwork, everychance to win something! We prolly need to work on a set of tracks so no one has an advantage. If everyone knows which track would give time to practice so no advantage or surprise.

Seems like a dream but if we did this and maybe get publicity for it, a possible rethink on Xbox launched officially here. Of course that would be a dream huh, but something good for the console gaming arena

As for MS rethinking on not launching here, i doubt that is gonna happen. Even with the relatively-cheaper version of MS Windows XP Starter Edition with quad languages support here getting next to zero response, i doubt they would think Malaysia as a viable market segment. The gaming populace here too proudly proclaim their love affair with the Dark Side , so.....*shrugs*

PGR3 should allow gamers to add all possible routes from all 5 cities to make one single custom route, that would be awesome. Imagine one minute , you're driving night time in London, then turning 720 degrees in that parking ramp in Tokyo, then move to long straights in New York, next moving in hotel lobbies in Vegas, and to top it off, driving in part of The Behemoth in Nurburgring. That would be KILLER~!!

Yeah, the Mercedes is my next favourite car after my first investment, the Ultima GTR. I cant drift to save my life, let alone take a corner nicely in PGR without spinning out of control, so the Mercedes is a perfect fit for me.

The Mercedes is like the Nobles somewhat. Huge turning radius. Once you spin, that's it, takes forever to turn around. Sometimes have to do 3 point turn also.

each team creates 5 custom tracks and use all 10 tracks from both team.. that sounds more fair i think..

Let's team up 1st, then we think how to run the league.

Remember, to run the league, everyone of the team member have to be online. ME especially would run into complications with my roster, where i have to be away for long trips without my 360. Camner?

OR is the race date dynamic, meaning can change to suit everyone's attendance?

Errrr, Team B too overpowderful Calvin, Jijo and MK84? Jijo is DA MASTA in NFS:MW(altho i have yet to race him,...anyone raced him?), and last night, MK84 shows his fangs with his Mercedes.

Reshuffle!

The easiest and definite way , the way i see it, to see who should go where is through time attack run on a selected course. That way, we know who ranks better, and we could reshuffle the teams balanced-wise.

P/s: Can we name the teams, instead of alphabets? Team Book Two perhaps?

Well its 8 max for online so for teams we prolly have 4 in a team so looking at players we have max teams we could have based on our number of players would be 4 teams (16 players in total).

So going forward we would have 2 types of competition

Individual

1. 2 groups (eight in each group) the 2 groups will battle over 10 races (set of 5 played once each week)

2. Top 4 in each group advance to final

3. Losers pool will have a competition and winner win a prize. Gives something to look forward for the not so pros

To determine the 2 groups maybe we have seedings. How do we do the seedings?

1. 5 races put in 2 groups ( random draw) top 4 join winners pool and losing 4 join loser pool.

2. Have another round of 5 racers and the winners pool will have seedings 1-8 and losers pool have seeding 9-16.

3, Once the seeding done the number 1 seed and number 2 seeds will be kept in different groups so hopefully they make the final.

4.Races will be held over weekend or an agreebable date (ppl like String fly)

Custom races sounds good Basai but maybe one from each team for the team races. Could be the ace in the hole to beat the other team. Will come up with something on teams later.

Anyway that is my idea on individual feel free to comment and input. I will sponsor some prizes not all (have a few ideas). First of all need to know who would be interested If there is enough peeps will need some help from others to form a committee to make this event work

And also have to remember, we cannot do scoring via points addition of everyone team versus another, since line drops would resulti n the person dropped out and coming back in resets to zero points. Someone would have to keep track of things, otherwise a lot of complaints/claims later.

EDIT: Your idea sounds good, Zaakath. We shall wait for the rest to comment, and then go from there. Since you suggested 5 tracks. it would have to be a track from each city.
