I think it is the restriction of the track. The intracity routes are not wide enough to allow more than 8. 8 cars banging each others pun already seems tight on space.
Also i would rather have 8 of stable connection rather than 16 with lots of blinking in and out cars, or dropped connections. |

8 car also can get traffic jam already, especially on tracks like London and Tokyo.

Woo guys.... PGR league??!!
Lately i'm quit busy with my live... with my job, my personal things ...sigh  ..that's why i did'nt realize we've got PGR3 league now....this is very interesting mann...Who's give this brilliant idea?
