cheap 1- or 2-cylinder engine is ok to maintain

but this 250cc 4 cylinder engine? it's a nightmare... sweat.gif hahahaha, each cylinder is only 62.5cc !

imagine how small the piston is, the conrods, the rocker arms - they are sooo fragile

go for a 250cc twin like naza blade or the ninja 250

a used blade starts from 9k while a used ninja is around 12 - 14k for a mid condition level

the zzr250 is an infamous bike. it has 4 cylinders, nice engine noise, good power, but lots of probs. hence, the very cheap 2nd hand price.

can... B2 license can go up to 250cc
but for god's sake, stay away from the ZZR250

a 250cc 4 cylinder engine spells trouble

just ask lots of sifu why ppl stay away from this bike

U mean zx2r. Zzr250 is an inline twin. Father of current ninja 250r

Kalau ada duit extra tu, i would suggest buy a 2nd hand ninja 250r as learning bike. Not as old, but does the same thing as a zzr250.

Tapi kalau mmg ada bajet tu, terus up 600cc an above lah... 250cc mmg takkan cukup punya...

ZZR is a good bike... very durable if the owner always take care of the monthly maintenance service...
but it is only inline 2 predecessor of ninja 250r ...

but if I were u, I'll go for CB4 SG... just find a legal one and u can get a good bike below 10k
the sound of the bike is soooo goooddd.. more like F1 kind of roar... if u manage to find VTEC version, much better..

fuel consumption is more or less like a liter bike actually... what do you expect from 4 inline with 4 carburetor...
for the part and maintenance u dont have to worry there is an expert shop in Klang specialize in CB4..
trust me he knows everything about CB4.

And risk getting harassed by JPJ and Customs eventhough you bought the bike legally and carry an International Driving Permit, simply bcoz they can.

if no money buy new big bike, then save more money lor...
or just buy anything u can afford..

old bike, starting cost may be cheap, but the time and money spent afterwards, may not worth it.. the bike gets older, more and more parts fail.
if u calculate back.. hmmm not worth it

used to own both (dua2 aku beli 2nd hand) and i prefer Blade more
bulkier and bigger looking, V-twin sound
tapi Ninja 2013 ni cun seyhhh lagi cun dari Blade

fuel consumption for Blade carb full tank, personal rekod aku boleh pergi 402.2km..ni adalah pengalaman aku setelah 4 kali minyak abis naik Blade ni hahaha..selalu aku isi full tank, reset Trip A and then dlm 380km isi full tank balik..speed biasa maintain 140-160km/h..

last time i was wondering whether to get a old (2000) aprilia 125 or a new demak dtm...
cause i dun have enough money to get a ninja 250r...

in the end i got demak 150...
after 1 outing with /k/biker and 3 months usage...

i am planing to upgrade...

that is my case... if got money just go for bigger bike la.. but if dun have, smaller new bike also not a bad choice..
it still serve the purpose... ride around town... to office/Uni, join convoy (if ppl willing to wait for u tongue.gif )
then start saving for future big bike lo... icon_rolleyes.gif
