if chugging means ur speed is incoherent with the gear. means ur speed doesnt match the gear. go lower gear.

Lunging like low power tu macamana? There's no problem with power. The chug is usually there when am shifting from 2nd to 3rd, or going down from 3rd to 2nd, or when from 6th all the way down to N. One chug per gear. It's like the clutch is still slipping even though the lever is fully pulled.

if u want u can get er6n, er6f, cb 400 /500 /600 or xj6 first. it has 600 cc but lesser power.
