I'm currently using my DAC that based on PCM2704, normally with headphone, sometimes with amplifier.

I also saw some web comments about volume controlling problem. From my understanding, it mention that it doesn't support microsoft volume control, is it true ?

I understand its superior quality of audio that surpass its price, but this could be a major drawback since I couldn't use it directly with my heaphone (I don't want to be deaf) which I use most of the time. Hope to clarify this matter.

Hi Young,

I am inerested in buying one. Please PM me on how to order (from US).

I also have a couple of questions:

1. How much power it would draw from my Galaxy S3? I hope my phone can last at least one day on battery with this.

2. Other than that heatshrink, what else do you suggest me put on it to make it better looking and safer? What if I pour coffee or soda on it...

3. Just my wild thought: is it possible that, for the next generation maybe, you put a microphone on it so I can answer a call directly from it ...

Thanks!

My unit still in burn-in process, sound feel little bit muddy with creative in-earphones & koss KSC75.
Hopefully sound will opened later. After burn-in will try connect it to Valve Amp.

Anyway, I like the mid-bass & voice sound so clear.

I have one of these waiting to be the new home of my UD100, unless I find something cooler.
I will be using it with my Galaxy Note 2

I have used UD100 for quite a sometime already, and all I can say is,this is really good, more than enough for those whom love to listen to music, appreciate good sound, but have little to spend to.

Do I ever listened to something better? Yes I am. I have listened to some better DAC,of coz they are all way pricey than UD100,but when come to price/size/performance ratio,I simply can't find any DAC that can surpass or performed better than UD100. This is good, and I have to mention that, the seller is responsive, responsible and friendly.

Many have asked,T-Muso or this? All right, last night I have a meet up with my friend,he is using T muso and we have compared them side by side, all I can say is T muso is not in the same standard as UD100,UD100 is WAY BETTER than T Muso, the clarity,ALL!

So another question,do you needed to add up a amp to UD100? If me,I will say Definitely you have to! If you have good budget (You just need some amp that has volume control, just like E11 and Cmoy,I dont recommended Govibe Minibox, old version as it has really quite amount of noise),I will really say go for the amp. Last night,my audio buddy asked my opinion to add an amp to UD100,I share my opinion as below:

'Kalau dengar terus pakai UD100,seperti roh yang berkeliaran, tapi dengan amp,roh itu dapatkan badannya',and when I typing this short impression,my buddy Pm'ed me said that he was poisoned,by adding amp to the DAC.

Brothers and sisters,go for the UD100,when size/price and performance is your top priority, definitely worth, one of the bang of the bucks item,in audio history!

After 40+ hour burn-in now the sound nearly accurate/open compare with sound from my mod Xfi Elite & mod Micromega CD player.

After 60+ hours burn-in, I connect it to tube pre-amp & go to tube amp, sound now rich & opened. The sound look like my old Dynaudio speaker upgrade to latest model. Anybody connect/pair it with headphone tube amp, how the sound(my future planning). My advice make sure your digital recording/source quality is good or at least mp3 with 256bit & above.

Any other tips to share, tq
