Haven't tested it. But some of my buyers reported that it sound more musical compare with the old DACport with amplifier integrated.
Perhaps you can grab one and compare with ur LX?

Anyone, especially boss chchyong89, know about a DAC call Xitel MD-Port AN1? I'm currently using that in a considerably 'monstrous' setup and the sound is good, but not good enuf for me yet. I was thinking about the DAC such as Hippo CriCri+ or Maverick Tube Magic D1. Recently heard from a fren about the UD100 so I feel interested and come have a look. Boss chchyong89, any comment?

In Xitel MD-Port AN1's paper, http://www.datasheetcatalog.org/datasheet/...s/UDA1321_4.pdf . The ES9023 is far superior than it. However, I have no idea on cricri and D1.

Got my UD100 yesterday.. tested here tested there.. I always thought Toshiba laptops comes with good DAC but this little fella proofed me wrong!
Greater sound from my lappie and now I'm going to be more anti social!

Hi, UD100 might not suitable for gaming, as there is no virtual effect processed at the output. UD100 is more on the fidelity site that suitable for audiophiles and music lovers.
