so yesterday i accidentally reset my phone - luckily got backup previous nite

the moment it was resetted, straight away i thought of re-jb it, install back all the tweaks which i may forgot and such

tweaks example as to display contact photo in contact name list and sms, i know android user dont have to do this cuz it comes with the os itself

in conclusion i wonder if android user need to do lots of tweaks as iphone user does; and if not how bad the default is it

Android default mode is pretty good, I've been using my stock rom on my Desire HD since launch, no complain on lag.

The higher processor is only good for multi tasking and playing games, other than that, you don't really need a super flying processor just to take notes, open your calendar or browsing the internet.

after yesterday incident, start to think if android is better.. google is known with their simple and useful product and apps

last time i update firmware
using app backup tweaks
after update n try restore back some tweaks cant function
even after i reinstall it

in the end, i have to re-update and install all tweak manually

Android will definitely bring you a higher level of tweaking excitement.
Despite the convenience tweaks, you'll get to try rooting, over clocking, custom ROM-ing, etc.
and you get to experience paranoid and crying over spilled milk when you did something wrong along the way.

iphone user suppose to be dumb and not simply jail break their device, Apple doesnt warrant that.

anyway android on 4.0/4.1 are the better android, probably zero tweaks needed to fulfill your basic need

Android user only need a custom ROM for extra performance. The faster, the better. iPhone need too many tweaks to match Android in usability. More tweaks, more RAM used and less RAM for apps.

I have all 3 platforms - Android, iOS and WP7. No matter what custom ROM I used on Android or how many tweaks on iOS... still cannot match WP7 for stability and buttery smooth UI. Battery life on WP7 bloody damn good! Unfortunately, contact management damn poor on WP7 - even an outdated Nokia E61 can beat it FLAT! WTF cannot put more than 1 mobile number per contact?
