hi guys. i just bought tp-link wdr4300 and using the 850 modem as well. i plugged in all the cables etc and setup the router. stock firmware is 121226. i couldnt connect to the internet. but then i flash it with 121106 .login my unifi id, setup 2.4ghz and 5ghz, wait a few minutes and voila. iptv and internet works like charm. wifi range and speed increased. im happy with this router. there's no need for you to flash custom firmware. hope this helps

either 121126 or 121106 both are working. confirmed by today 27th May 2013 the only problem is 5ghz band wifi signal is weak to penetrate walls etc compared to 2.4ghz. other than that, wdr4300 works perfect

QUOTE(bahathir @ Jul 14 2013, 08:37 PM) TL-WDR4900: To be safe look at the simulator/emulator http://www.tp-link.com/resources/simulator...R4900/Index.htmClick at Network. If it does NOT have VLAN Setup, then, it is CANNOT be used to replace uniifi's DIR615. Example from my WDR4300. [attachmentid=3535011] If you browse TP-LInk Malaysia (www.tp-link.com.my), the is no Unifi mode mentioned. Thank you. yes broooo. thank you. this is what im trying to say haha. its firmware does not support unifi.
