while you are at it... try killing yourself by getting a Easton EA70 stem with +/- 20 degree rise...

the most upgrade on groupset in 2-3 years time... gotta clock some 10,000KM or 20,000KM mileages on my 105! it's now already 4,500KM plus plus....

no upgrade when my cycling technical is not there....

i guess it's best to get a better bike then... you will eventually need a race and training bike since you are partly into competitions...

stick with the 105 on the giant as it will be cheaper to replace when things fail...

i did say "more stuff that you should not watch" rite...

28T is the max... the 105-SS short cage RD that you have is too short to take up that much chain slack.. and i doubt you have a long enough chain currently to slap on a 32T.. even if you have.. the RD will not be able to take up that much chain slack for the 32T to operate all the cogs properly, dropped chains, sloppy shifting and stuff even if you forcefully do it...

ideally 2 bikes, 1 use for training 1 for race. but how many roadraces can join in 1 year? what's in my ideal is use the alloy bike to cycle on trainer on weekday, and weekend the carbon bike show off movement! haha...

that's ultimate ideal situation which need years to achieve.

i oredi got 11-32 long long ago la.. jus Apex only.. and i asked around and no one seems interested to bring in Rival / Force or Red WiFLi...cos no market.. baskets...

yeah... 3G to my cassette and then via Ant+ to my android device mounted on my handlebar while simultaneously logging my GPS data, heart rate, cadence, speed, incline, altimeter to a cloud online training site...

heck.. i even have a high speed wireless broadband enabled Shimano Di2 shifter that will shift gears though the internet... all with HSWBB with no lags... no wires..

a push of button will engage the Di2 to start sending a shift signal via the internet into a secure Shimano server named (shimano wireless shift enterprise server, which you have to pay yearly subscription or your Di2 will not shift) farm in who knows where... the shimano server will then authenticate the shift via a complex algorithm to make sure the shift command is authentic and upon successful authentication will send the command via the internet back to your HSWBB enabled cassette... the cassette will then send the command via Ant+ to your android device which is monitoring your vital signs and road conditions and wind speed and acceleration rates... it analyzes and tells you if the gear is suitable and if not... will suggest an alternative gear to engage... upon decision made... the command will then be sent from the android device to your Di2 shifters wirelessly and an accurate shift customized to your riding will happen...

very complex i tell you... so complex it's BS...
