Hello, I'm Shidi from Pedal Malaya (http://www.facebook.com/pedalmalaya) and we currently running a campaign called "Car Free Day" or "Carbon Free Sunday". We wanted to promotes that every Sunday is Car-Free Day here in Malaysia.
Pedal Malaya is a non-profit organization, committed to raising awareness and increasing tolerance and harmony between drivers and cyclists. Our main mission is to promotes every Sunday as car free day and to contribute to a social change and create stronger and healthier communities. We provide educational resources to both automobile drivers and cyclists so they can learn to coexist and share the road safely and with respect. Please note that this is non-profit kind of campaign. We just promotes/encourage people to support Car-Free Day. Appreciate if you can help us share this photo album on Facebook for this great cause. ARGHHHH I'm torn between 105 and Tiagra....
The difference in price is almost 1000 Ringgit. Economically, I'd be good with Tiagra since I'm just a beginner but I wouldn't want to be upgrading anytime soon. So taikors taikors sekalian, I'd like to ask: - Which would be more feasible in your opinion? 105 or Tiagra? Or maybe SORA - How much does it cost to go to 105 or Ultegra? In terms of group set as well as other components such as brakes, cassettes, etc. oh ya, I saw a decent Trigon with carbon frame, Tiagra group set. Around 4k+ but am not so keen since I'm not sure how good quality are they Another one, Focus Variado 1.0, 4.3k hehehe Added on November 1, 2012, 9:52 am QUOTE(butthead @ Nov 1 2012, 09:28 AM) GOOD!!! Aster, tried to do plenty of research but only came back with....nothing much except that they manufacture frames for BMC. How true is that, I don't know :/when you meet the boss, Andrew, tell him, runner Chin Ann recommend mari.... see can get any extra % off or any goodies or not.... Not worried about the brand but more concern about the stiffness and the weight of the aluminium. This post has been edited by lilredridinghood: Nov 1 2012, 11:06 AM |

In terms of group set as well as other components such as brakes, cassettes, etc. In terms of groupset price. Almost double the price the focus variado you have to ask sky.live for an honest opinion, i think he owns one... QUOTE(lilredridinghood @ Nov 1 2012, 09:49 AM) there is nothing to worry about regarding stiffness in an aluminum bike... they are all the same with only a few % in difference... the only difference is the grade of aluminum they use... and the stiffness comes from their production methods on their frames... unless you are looking to buy an ultra expensive one like cannondale a caad10 or focus al9.0 ultimate... then there is not going to be much you can feel most of the time.. What brand do you think is nice for <2k. I saw some really nice 2nd hand bikes in bicyclebuysell but my dad says he would only buy if he meet the person or the seller is a trusted one. And I live in Sarawak and most of the sellers are in West Malaysia. So if I were to buy one at a local store, what brand would you recommend. If you know some trusted sellers in bicyclebuysell pls introduce |
