Actually if you can find my initial post on Havoline performance (I change last month), I did not have good review on it. Massive vibration, sluggish acceleration performance, louder engine noise. Give me a scared. I have also change a new stock air filter, so not sure which one cause it.

The continues for about 300km. From there, it started to change for better. By the time it hit 500km, vibration subside back to original, engine noise reduced and become even more muted than b4 EO change, acceleration began to smoothen then proceed to accelerate better than b4 EO change. The muted engine noise and increase smoothness of acceleration when accelerating gives an impression of sluggish performance but in reality, its actually better (this is the same impression similar to CVT drive where smooth gearless acceleration gives an impression of no power but actually has best power to acceleration ratio). However still have a feeling like high end speed harder to reach...
last time very easy to reach 120-130, now seems like longer a bit to reach. However high speed drive engine noise DEFINITELY reduce noticeably for me, acceleration during that point is as good as ever.

Maybe ECU do need to adapt....maybe this new SN rate stick to part lube react differently, totally clueless why initial performance not good.

I ALWAYS requested using only 3.7-3.8 liter only, ngam ngam and sometime even exceed a bit, so imagine full 4 liter usage.

mine also always pour whole bottle.
i realised last time when serviced in SC, they pour whole bottle the dipstick will more than max. Using Petronas Syntium 800. when warranty ends, now always service outside, they also pour full bottle of self buy EO, but never more than max.
Is it SC din drain the oil clean enuf or Petronas Syntium EO is more??
Sell away your stock lor. other car still run nice with shell mah.

You should try checking your dipstick in early morning on level ground when all lube in on the pan. Full bottle might exceed the max. Some mechanics just change lube straight and check fast, not accurate checking.

i check in the morning lah. exactly at the line. but if check after the car hot then over max. so which to follow??

I don't get it tho....how can hot (where some lube still stick to the parts above) be more than cold (where all lube drip down to the pan liao)?

Did you used the same flat ground when checking when either hot or cold? I can only assume when cold, your car might not be on flat ground.

I'm so used to switching songs and volume from the buttons that I tried pressing non-existent buttons in my 06 City Vtec and Civic 1.8 to change volume.....ni a ma, a 90k and 110k car.....remote button pun tak da...

Also let me know when you identify and solve the issue. I'm dreading the one day it happen...have to find 1 HU with same remote function so can reuse back the buttons.

mileage is approaching 12k. i notice this problem last week. at first i thought it was sound of ambulance siren! the sound is not very loud, as i didn't notice when radio is turned on. i turned off the radio and realize the sound came from pedal area (or maybe the front wheel)

next week i need to go to ipoh, so kinda worried for long distance driving. should i go check with cose or outside proton service center?

If its swirling whining sound coming from tyre, try to ask any tyre shop sifu to check on the wheel bearing. A damaged, worn or faulty wheel bearing can produce sound like whining. Mm....does do sound appear while idle or only after the car move to a certain speed?
