how many of you guys sent your car to SC until the warranty ends.. i am nearing the 15k mileage, and im starting to evaluate whether to continue to send to sc or not.. the price that sc charges seems quite ridiculuos.. especially during the 20k service, which is rm500++..

If those people have so much to complain about RON95, I think NGV is instant overhaul for them.

can go try permanon coating. not that expensive. just need to DIY. Added on August 1, 2012, 3:10 am for me no. i am not sure about B-line and M-line coz the braking different. maybe need more power to stop the car. but changing that frequently means you are braking quite hard most of the time i suppose. but i only change once. mine is h-line. if you are using stock pad, why not try to use high performance pad? [/quote] common problem , dont think any solution from that. when its new the sound cant hear but after few month sure got sound. xD What do you expect from proton car? |

When going downhill from genting I always swept pass by those people waiting for their brakes to cool down at roadside You need to see for yourself whether the brake pad needs to be changed or not. Can see through the rim there, I suspect the sc cutting your throat. It shouldnt be change so frequently with just stock pad, stock disc and normal driving style. For the eee sound mine also got, that 1 have to just live with it. If the pad really going to finish, there'll be a higher pitch sound. For other sound maybe you can record for us to hear whether is it normal or something unusual going on. |

QUOTE(bored_gurl @ Aug 1 2012, 11:41 AM) When you driving and use the brakes on and off, the brake disc will get hot. If dun believe, then try not to touch the disc after a long drive. You will get burn if you do. Now, if the disc is very hot and maybe you go wash it or go for bangla wash, then the disc will warp (bengkok) lah. Because it is metal mah. Try doing that by splashing water to a hot metal. From visual check by eyes, maybe not much can be seen but if take out and measure probably will see the warpage. |
