Have been diving @lym and cari for some time. I like music and hear all kind of musics. I just want something that sounds better and lower the tensions during traffic. Sharing somthing that works for me for now.. Hope it could be helpful to new comer to ice and don't want to spent much.. Like me middle working class ppl

Current setup

Hu: pioneer 9450 - (7 series equivalent will do same job)
Amp: old skool db tech 4 channel german amp ( from prev car)
Subwoofer: epsilon 10 inch with enclosure (from prev car)
Component: old skool Macrom ms 61 (from prev car)
Tweeter: alpine dts30 ( changed to this since ori was burnt by careless installer)
Doors dampening: stp crystal and some 3rd party door panel Treatment - done by howie

Summary
1/ A good installer is very important.
2/ decent component will do; i know focal or morel better..but $$$
3/ tuning is important; done by sifu is good and learn some theory behind tuning. To learn wat our ears really enjoy is another.
4/ door treatment and sound proof is critical for car audio

..looking at the time average kl working class spent on car. Can't really complaint much abt quality now with money spent. next thing in mind is sound proof on front/rear arc.

yup agree. knowledgable installer is important. whhen i first started ice..none of the installer mention abt ring adapter, sound dampening and etc till i studied it myself..

i like your old school collections...
