i'd take saga FLX SE anytime
1.6L IAFM+ with CVT on a light body

Take saga flx se..those extra money u can use to change to 4 set of better sport rim and tyres (michelin ps3), change to touch screen HU, do soundprofing, etc...

Yeap, extra money upgrade what you want + buy saga is a new car got warranty, if gt problem
2009 vios i think is still in good condition if owner take care follow manufacture advice

FYI, saga sound system is better than vios...vios sound system is crap..saga sound system even clear when loud..last time my fren vios test his sound system and tell me very good,but i hear there is noisy sound when volume is high..but i just keep quiet and say,wah..no bad....haha

Same price bracket, different segment.

Vios has superior NVH and fit&finish, not to mention reliability. but the FLX SE wins in terms of performance, spec and features.

Both Vios and Saga belongs to the B Segment, while Inspira/Persona/Preve/Forte/Elantra is in the C segment, along with Civic/Altis..
Malaysians often compare Preve to Vios only because of price bracket..

As there's a saying always, New Cars > 2nd Hand always. Less hassle and headache. However, If you are really that concern about the brand. It's your choice then to go for Vios

Currently I'm using Saga FLX SE.. My parents want to take my Saga for some kind of project, and want to give me my mum vios 2010 (I dunno what spec).. But I refuse

Of course SAGA. Vios is not worth to that money. Just because too many peoples using it and resale price good. And spare part cheap because distributor keep stock.

People driving it not really enjoy it. Engine makes noise too. And it just worth RM50k new vios in Thailand.

if talk abt resale value...saga is more superior
the 1st edition saga BLM cost RM40k only
if u check in mudah....now almost 5 years already, it can still be sold in RM35-36k...it only lost RM5k in 5 years...now thats superior resale value

i can tell u, only those who know nothing/super rich would probably buy that..since the new flx is just rm38k manual..and now cars are compulsory to come with a twin airbag..while other similar year saga is just about rm23k..there is a reason why the value of any car will drop significantly when it is been sold back even after few months of use..

How about bank loan interest for new car and used car?

try ur best to get a new car. loan for used car can be up to 4% whereas a new car can be 2.5-3.0%

If you calculate by the new n old car interest, it might be differences of few k only...not 8k for sure...unless you buy cash then yes...used car interest is almost extra 1.5-2.5%/annum..

personal preference actually. if me i like white because i like white. but then red look more striking and sporty if you compare. catch eyes easier.

The candy-ish red FLX SE looks good... Red for me...

i also test drove vios trd (of course test drive unit will be the full spec one no?) and saga flx se before buy

ended up getting saga flx se instead of vios, but if compare price range of vios and city, city anytime but lets just say i have way too bad experience with honda

How about the fuel consumption (FC) between the Vios and the Saga FLX? Any Saga owners here facing problems with your CVT? How about the throttle delay? I have experienced throttle delay with my friend's Saga FLX. Still considering to get one or not.
