Hi all, I drive a manual Satria 1.3i. After reading this thread, I decided to go with the Powerzone 4-2-1. Unfortunately Powerzone does not sell a complete exhaust system. How do I go about replacing the mid-muffler, exhaust piping and the rear muffler? Is it ok to install "cap ayam" brand for the rest of the parts? Will there be a performance degrade? I'm willing to spend the extra cash to get the best or optimum performance for this setup.

u can refer that page again.. there's a lot sifu can guide u.. here most likely not..
i can recommend u just use 2' white steel piping n use original route, add spiral or whteva midbox u like still ok, n any straight flow rear muffler (not too big coz ur engine only 1.3).. last time my wira 1.6 manual use above setup, summore with empty rear muffler (no fiber i mean n small size cylinder shape) n the result produce rempit sound at higher rpm n about power not sure coz most like just hear the sound its already felt excited.. haha (that was 5-7 years back lol) |

I'm not looking to maximize power gain by getting bigger diameter piping. I'd probably be sticking to stock diameter and route. But I'm just confused if mixing cap ayam with Powerzone will have negative effects.

i send my wira 1.5 to powerzone dealer done as below 1.)powerzone extractor 4-2-1 2.)1.6inch piping size 3.)stainless steel s-flow muffler. pickup better than before..only hv a very little sound when u rev above 3k rpm..not bad.. urs is 1300cc,i would say 1.6 inch is enuf for ur car unless u hv mod like racing cam or turbo...too big piping size make ur pickup suffer.. babisotong liked this post

To overfloe and shen1716, from my understanding, bigger piping size=more air flow which results in higher fuel economy. And if the piping is too big, I will lose out on performance due to the lack of pressure. Is 1.6" the optimum/suitable size for my 1.3? How much difference in terms of fuel economy against power gain? As of now I am able to travel +-400KM with 50 bucks of fuel.
And again, does Cap Ayam brand matter? Reason being is I see Hotbits sell a complete exhaust system, but i'm a bit reluctant to purchase it due to a few negative reviews i've read. |

Doesnt make big difference for your case. The extractor change have the largest impact anyway, and you already done it. |

new extractor
kill the cat piping up a size.. muffler up a size.. your car should have good pickup. rev easier.. fc will be better.. but because you're revving more easily now.. you could be addicted to 'heavy foot'... kekekke |

powerzone extractor 421, 1.6inch pipe, normal midbox or aftermarket aso can, s-flow muffler, use standard route/bend.
mixing with cap ayam is ok, as long maintain the above max spec...the different of cap ayam is they usually produce bad sound...also quality not good enough. TQ |

TQ after some time, beh tehen with it.. add the 2nd midbox, kill the torque, but it spares my ear drums. |

Just change the car, no amount of mod is useful on satria 1.3 manual.
Save your money from spending on current car mod. Next best choice is Satria Neo, better in all aspect and retain the sentimental value of name "Satria". You can thank me later. |
