Hi all. I have been a football jersey collector for the past 20 years. Most of my jerseys are still in the original bags or the older ones have been washed and also put into plastic bags. Recently, i found that there are a number of jerseys that have their printed sponsors melting. those that were stuck to the original bags are screwed but there are some that has the paper wrapping which are melting and sticky but still overall ok. Does anyone know how to repair them or to reactivate the material?
I went on YouTube and found a few suggestions like ironing them which totally destroyed my jersey as it came out totally. Please share if you encounter this problem or have suggested solutions. Thanks.
