Hi

I am very noob about this. So, here is my situation, few week back i have drove my car to Perodua Service Centre and get my car service (regular service). So, the assistant told me, its about time that i maybe need to change my car tyre. (that suppose will be done on next car service - 6 month/km limit). Its already been 3 years and 1 month old (and my car only drive around 31,000 km - i know im suck not drive more - please do not shock)

The assistant told me the tyre price around RM190 each. I want to know is the price ok? Since i forgot to ask what is the BRAND of the tyre.

P/S: My car does not have any modification applied to it, etc.

Depends on what brand actually. If RM190 for the same brand as the original myvi tyres, yes they are expensive.

Anyway, u only drove 31k km and that's about 10k km per year which is below average but not rarely driven enough for the tyres to go hard and crack/burst under stress.

Inspect the tyres, if there are no hairline cracks, u can still use it until the thread is almost worn out.

It'd be even better if u can post pics of the tyres.

If u want normal tyre with more affordable price choose tyre like Continental CC5 ...more premium tyre like Michelin Energy series XM2..yokohama A-drive also not a bad choice..dpend on your budget ba...if you scare get cheated, u can go around tyre shop n do survey for price...for me..I dont think Perodua Service centre is good & cheap..

Since your warranty is over, don't need to go to Perodua. Perodua overcharges and will tell you to change prematurely. I used my 1st batch of tyres till 50,000km. Have changed to Bridgestone from tyre shop at $160 a piece.

My wife stock myvi facelift 1.3 front tyre botak, what is the best tyre i should go for? Cheap and cheerful kind. Just normal driving style no need to be high performance. Current stock size is 175/65/R14, thanks.
