I actually got a couple of better offer but i turned it down. On average my bring home would be > RM6k nett after deducting EPF and income tax. Really thinking of moving on but in the current company the working time is so flexible. You get to go work late which i usually don't.. start work before 10am and still get to go home @ 5.30pm. The yearly increment was Ok as well. 1st year RM4xx 2nd year RM5xx.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 8 2013, 09:08 AM) It is true that these days employees (especially female and Gen-Y) look for flexible working hours than reward. This was also reported in the survey conducted by TalentCorp and published on The Star on last Saturday. I'm one of them too, I cannot trade off the flexibility I have here with slightly better remuneration that other employers could offer me, that's why I still have no intention to look out. Very bad as I'm already in comfort zone, this doesn't look good for me. I come to office only at 10.00 a.m. and can go back anytime I want so long I finish my work but I usually go back around 7.00 p.m. la... Official working hours is 8.30-5.30. Most of the time 8.30, I'm still on my bed sleeping. Another plus point is I can work from home whenever I want. Today I came to office from hometown, so a bit earlier than my usual time. Say if there is a smaller company with 25% increment or more which wish to hire you... You would not consider it right? One thing for sure working in a smaller scale company ppl tend to put 120% effort to shine.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 8 2013, 07:42 PM) Ya, I'm not used to working in smaller scale company. I think in the mean time, I shall stick to bigger scale company. Preferably a MNC as well. I like to be in MNC environment. TRUE! less stress and somehow the payout could be better than most small companies out there.
