I am 26, an IT back-office coordinator at a MNC company, basic 4.8k.

After reading this thread I'm quite thankful with my current earning. But I plan to buy a house this year. No matter what I need to get my salary increase as house price nowadays are crazy!! sweat.gif

by increase salary a bit wont let u able buy house immediately.. if really wanna buy urgent need find some other ways cos the price is too crazy high for normal ppl to afford. maybe pinjam for downpayment first or wat

may be you can look for apartment/condo near outskirt so will only cost you about 200k - 300k... monthly repayment should be around rm1100 - rm1600...

i plan to get a landed one. if not buy now, i guess i will never afford. 5 years later normal terrace house price might hit 1 mil shocking.gif

1.5 yr in L2 helpdesk + 1 yr working experience in Server administration/network support, with MCSE+CCNA cert

possible to ask for rm4k offer?

if your current salary is 2.5k+ then it's possible. my experience, only jump if new salary increase > 60%. less than that, i better stay.
