Is the package good? Despite the high percentage increment I still find a lot more other companies are offering a lot higher (some other MNC/ OnG).

As long as you're willing to learn software despite your engineering background, you can try to apply. But average increment here for lower rank is just around 12-15%, you need to perform a lot more than expectation and have some luck to get 20% and above...

I think this range is common in senior management position for most big companies. I know people in my company senior management team who get paid 50k monthly.
