you should have worked your way up to Phd if you really aim for a better salary.

A master holder in life science will only earn you a lecturer/tutor position in both private and public sectors without the chances for gaining a professorships unless you get a Phd.

But, it all depends on your interest, do you really like what you are doing the in the lab. Research and result take years.

I don't see myself stucks in the lab with the research works, just because I am not a patient bunch, rather I would see things works and the results yields, and hence, I am inclined towards commercial and industrial manufacturing.

And what is the point of you earning a master in life science? does it useful in ur dad's business?
