That is not totally correct.

Certain position require the staff to have specific certification, like MBA. In order to get that position you have to obtain that qualification.

Normally people will go for Master Degree when they want to get higher position, or they want to involve in Education related career, like a lecturer.

Master Degree is relatively useless and not practical especially if it's a Science degree. Unless you can get into the right company or the company needs your research.

Then if like dat no point really to study master right? Example normal ppl come out work age 23. Then start salary fresh grad is 2.4k average. Every increase 10% when reach age 28 is around 3.8k. Plus promotion cos work so long will be around 5k - 6k.

Study master 2 yrs will just come out start salary 3k then no chance promotion cos not enuff working exp and depend on increment maybe reach like my fren 4k. hmm.gif

You're totally missing the point about education. Not everybody's objective in life is to grab as much money as they can. In today's economic climate, it's also a bit naive to think that people are getting increment every year, summore 10%. Also just because you're in a company for so long, there's no guarantee that you'll be promoted.

Only those who intend to climb the corporate ladder need to have good quality tissue paper, err I mean degree, mba, masters whatever. Then if those who want to open business become boss no need paper, but need $$$ paper.

If the salary is always bond to the age, is that mean the person would be damn rich when he is near 60?

I don't really understand for how much you earn should be related to your age? Seriously I don't, and I do not see the relation in between pay and the age. sweat.gif

If under a same company, they are not suppose to have the same salary. The more skillful person should get the higher pay.

But many other factors can affect the salary such as relationship between bosses, politic skill, experience, etc.

Some ppl might not be very skillful but they have valuable experience on big project, so they got higher salary.
