May I know the salary range for acct exec in kl? Considering whether should remain here or find better job either in KL or singapore.

Is it me or are others reading my post wrongly?

I just mentioned that the starting pay was in the region of RM2.5k-3k, not current pay after 3+ years. Obviously there are increments but not to the region of earning more than RM4k, which is the puzzling thing that dexmonata and I are having.

Do not assume that my friends are underperforming or whether they should be bargaining for better pay. I would say it's according to the market rate. Getting paid more than RM4k (up to RM6k) for a regular engineer in a typical field with 3+ years experience is uncommon and out of the norm, thus the query.

3 years experience engineer get 4k above is common, very normal...

I am 26, an IT back-office coordinator at a MNC company, basic 4.8k.

After reading this thread I'm quite thankful with my current earning. But I plan to buy a house this year. No matter what I need to get my salary increase as house price nowadays are crazy!! 

1 yr as executive is 2.5k, 5 yrs as executive is 3.6k
if a freshie after 3 yrs jump to sr exec, get 4k..
work that way

if your current salary is 2.5k+ then it's possible. my experience, only jump if new salary increase > 60%. less than that, i better stay.

2.8k jump to 4k is possible. Provided u have the skill and knowledge to justify the jump.

the thing is my junior got higher salary than me lower experience level, so thus i also... think la....but 6 month back was offered a NOC job for 3.6k.. but refused coz this company gives good experience....  i think would be better go for interview to rate my market value?
