QUOTE(Area51SE @ Jul 26 2012, 09:27 PM) Agreed. The front looks kinda weird..the front grill and the headlights Yes i was kinda disappointed with the actual pic of the front. Seems disjointed with the rest of the car. That upper lip on the headlights gives it a slightly cheapo look. Lets hope, this is not the production car. But the rear is quite sleek and nice. |

QUOTE(ferrari38 @ Aug 13 2012, 11:05 PM) I m prefer the design of current forte, especially with bodykit, more fierce n muscular than k3. Well difficult to say unless u see the car in the flesh. It might be better or worse. |

Someone spotted the new K3 at Port Klang this week. Probably for JPJ testing. So the launch will not be far away.

QUOTE(zephyrus9999 @ Oct 20 2012, 01:57 PM) ohh my context was, this version outlook is pretty similar to K5, and since most of us cant afford a K5, K3 is a good subtitute for the looks Well the rear is similar but the front is quite different. I too prefer the current generation Forte's looks to tis. But this K3 will come on a new platform and more specs. So lets wait and see wht will reach our shores. |

QUOTE(gkl83 @ Dec 2 2012, 09:31 AM) as believe Kia will strip down most of the feature if K3 on the road of malaysia... I dont think so. Kia seems to be providing full spec cars in Malaysia compared to other manufacturers. These cars will be CBU so will probably be full spec. Even the K5 is the full spec version. as i can see K3 Korea = K5 Malaysia... somemore going to replace current forte... i guess the price wont be below RM100k but come with some much of features which almost same with K5 malaysia? Even the current Forte 2.0L is 97K , how can the new model be less than 100K. Surely will be more but it will still be worth it considering the specs on offer and the fact that its slightly bigger than the current model. Added on December 3, 2012, 2:06 am QUOTE(stix @ Dec 2 2012, 12:24 PM) New civic will age better compared to this. I think so too. The front of the new Forte seems a bit too radical for me. Doesnt quite suit the car. This post has been edited by cybermaster98: Dec 3 2012, 02:06 AM |

QUOTE(Buydirect @ Jan 31 2013, 02:08 PM) It's correct to say: What would be the engine capacity of the upcoming K3?Forte shares Elantra HD platform K3 shares Elantra MD platform. When you mention "latest model," you meant Forte and not K3, I assume. Thanks. |

QUOTE(fact3 @ Feb 8 2013, 02:11 AM) K3 5 door hatchback pictures is leaked There wont be a hatchback version for the K3 in Malaysia. And i dont think the Turbo would be introduced here. If it was possible, im sure Naza would have brought in the Optima Turbo instead of the MPI.Turbo should reach here by that time hopefully Hoping for panoramic view like 308 |

QUOTE(Buydirect @ Mar 18 2013, 07:17 PM) Pricing for K3 is expected to be in the region of 95-98K from reliable sources. It will come with an improved engine and specs compared to the current Forte. It's definately worth waiting for...Cheers! This is for which model? How many models will Malaysia have? Launch date? |

QUOTE(dtna7 @ Mar 19 2013, 01:57 AM) Will the Koreans place a small engine in a big heavy car again? Yup gotta agree with you here. Except for the turbo cars, the other NA engines are underpowered except the Forte 2.0L. K5 is underpowered. There is a reason why the Civic was always 1.8l minimum. Will it still be all show and no go? Is that what buyers of our soil prefer? Until now i couldn't digest how a 1.3+- tonne Elantra can run on a 1.6l engine. |
