Hi All,

I would like to create an owner thread for Online TVE to announce and share information among owners.

Online TVE is a Samsung Smart TV application which has a repository of more than 500 live TV where the source are come free from internet. Other channel such as VOD, Radio, Music will be added later.

Online TVE app supports C (Year 2010), D (Year 2011) and latest Year 2012 E/EH/ES Series Samsung Smart TV.

Due to the channels are adopted free from internet from various countries, the playback smoothness, intermittently connection error, channels discontinue (dead channels) and the quality of the channels playback are out of my control.

Streamyx 1mbps is able to play most of the SD channels smoothly, however, suggested to use more than 2mbps bandwidth in order to view all the SD & HD channels smoothly.

- new english Channels added.
- VOD added.

- uploaded more than 50 new taiwan, hong kong (with more than 10 english channel in it).. must watch!!!
- a lot of existing taiwan, china, korea, channels are broadcasting olimpic live.

App Updates

How to install Online TV Samsung Apps

Developer Login
To login to the User App tool as a developer:

1. Press the SMART HUB button on the remote control to display the Samsung Smart Hub.

2. Click RED button (Login) (see the figure below).

3. Enter user id “develop” and select any 6 to 12 password. Select Login to log in to the “develop” account.(see the figure below).

If the login is successful, the develop icon is displayed at the bottom-left corner of the screen.

4. Click the BLUE colour button (Settings) to enter settings. A new option, Development, should appear at the end of the Settings menu.

5. Select Development and choose the Setting Server IP option (see the figure below).

6. In the boxes, enter the IP address of the web server that contains the packaged application. IP address will be provided above.

7. Press the ENTER button on the remote control to save the IP address. It is ENTER button, not RETURN button.

8. From the Development menu in Settings, select User Application Synchronization (see the figure below).

9. The TV indicates that it is installing a new service, and displays the name of your application (see the figure below).

10. After the installation is complete, select Complete and press the Return key on the remote control two times to exit settings.

11. Restart your TV after the installation is successful. A new application is available in Smart Hub (see the figure below).

The application icon contains the text USER in the lower right corner on a red background (see the image below).
Note: For existing users, you may go through the same process as above to update & sync your software.. No deletion required.

Thanks eclipsejee, i just added last night. No much trying so far. Will try it tonight. Is it line speed will effect Loading while we chance the channel ?? Please comment. Thanks
