This is going to be long so bare with me⬇️

I won’t say this biz is bad ….rather, the leadership&people,culture is terrible. There is no direction. Words are twist&turn to suit their agenda. The leaders(KPs &Prince) claim every individual is responsible for their own business as we are the one invest the money. But as time goes by,they go by “being a good follower”. This is my experience when I was a mobile stockist in McOcean (no sugarcoating) :

1) This business was said to be FLEXIBLE can run PART TIME etc. once you enrol to become a mobile stockist they will brainwash you to attend every meeting, training & team party saying to support new partners, for you to learn the business,system etc. in that process the KPs will brainwash you on why running it aggressively will do more good than bad(become KP within 1 month). Without you knowing, you will start running this business aggressively on full time basis because now you realize you have invested too much time, money & energy to stop or walk away. (Look up “The Sunk-Cost Fallacy”).

2) No autonomy in how you run your business. The way you run your business will fully depend on whatever your KP says. If they say go means go, come means come. Every decision, every word that comes out of your mouth will not be yours but your KP/Prince. You are just their puppet. Sometimes even your friend will realize you have changed just by the vocab’s you use and the way you handle conversations with them . You will start emulating the leaders and speak like them.

3) If your close friend is your downline/upline, then confirm will have a lot of misunderstanding due to Reason #1. Your friendship will begin to deteriorate because your friend won’t feel they are interacting with u but someone entirely different (Because you are no longer their friend but their KPs zombie)

4) Everything you share with your upline/downline/sideline everyone on top will know (can be smtg u not happy with in the biz, your personal problem etc.) everything is reported upwards to ensure the leaders are aware of your state of mind 24/7 and so that the system has full control over you. Hence every partner is advised TO BE CLOSE to their KP so that they too can be successful & earn 20K a month. It’s for this reason! Some people become too attached to their KP they report every single thing including snitching on others (I’m saying this because i was that person—regretfully). So there are no secrets here yaaaa…No matter how “songeh” your attitude is, your KP will find a way to bond with you through shared experience, interest (Look up “Trauma Bond”)

5) People here are discouraged from discussing personal stories or anything they not happy abt the business. Only can discuss business-related amongst partners, making it extremely difficult to connect genuinely. You can have the deepest friendship out of this platform but once ur in, it’s all transactional,superficial. Sad to say I lost many friends due to this. Yet to understand if they were truly my friends or they just got exposed.

6) Personal time is a sin here. Taking some time off to rest is labelled lazy, “not being serious about your dreams” & slowing down momentum of the team.When I was a partner there and got into an accident, the leaders didn’t bother to show concern for my wellbeing instead asked what is my ETA to the office training. That is my first time experiencing people with NEGATIVE Empathy! Worst than a toxic corporate environment! If you don’t answer calls/texts, getting spam calls/texts from partners/uplines/sidelines is completely normal here. You can be in a funeral or in middle of work, the expectation to answer at anytime is there. It shows “commitment and dedication to your dreams “ konon….Dont even get me started on the amount of group chats we have to maintain. Now there is rule that every group MUST have a Prince monitoring & any other groups to be shut down. Everything is monitored.

7) Feedback or criticism is labelled as spreading “negativity”. I remember having a 1v1 with one of the Prince as I was having problem prospecting and he kept spinning my points to show me I’m the problem. One point he got defensive telling I’m blaming the system which I clearly wasn’t. So exhausting. It’s an endless battle you train to fight but just never win.
😎 KPs who keep doing wrong doings are not penalised not sure for what reason. This platform is willing to compromise good partners safety just to retain a KP maybe he/she is dedicated or what idk. One particular KP sexually harass his downlines and still continues to do so(Discreetly). A warning has been issued in the past but it is still happening. How is this a safe environment for women to do business as to what they claim?
I Won’t expose the name of this KP yet. Or should I? Just comment.

8) If a partner failed to close new partners, they are pushed to buy products to get more SPs or so their upline can get income. I only realized how broken their system is when ppl in the platform had to work 1000 harder just to prove it’s working. Partners end up maxxxing out their credit cards, taking up new loans just to keep the system running. They can only show the title to prove the system is working. What if they show their bank accounts? Will that prove the system works or not? If you look closely, most of the KPs are desperate, in survival mode and regretting leaving their full time jobs after becoming a CKP. They don’t even have money to buy food and end up sharing food with their SPs. Some don’t even pay the bill and expect new partners to pay for their food saying it’s gratitude for the KPs help. Then End up pushing your SPs to close prospects under the reason of creating a new CKP. Is this the kind of system I want to be part of long run? Hard no.

9) Here u can MAKE MONEY & also EASILY LOSE MONEY. Let me explain. If you have a solid network who can pump in the money & willing to grow the network with u, and u being heartless & selfish ,u will see the money.NO DOUBT . I have personally closed prospects and seen SOLID 10K cash. Now here is why you will lose that money as easily : due to the points you read above, your network will eventually break….Your downlines will eventually burn out, lose motivation or just leave because they don’t feel like it anymore/misunderstanding. This is when your downlines would want to withdraw and you as an upline need to give back the income earned back to your downline. Now u have to decide if you want to help your downline withdraw and lose your income or work closely with your KP to ensure your downline don’t withdraw (You will be taught many techniques for that). If you choose to help your downline, be prepared to be boycott by entire network for being NEGATIVE. And even if you want to return the money, you might not to do as soon because your money is used up for all the cost of running the business (food,petrol,toll, warm up, GES tickets, top up products etc). So now you have to work extra hard to close another down line so the sales proceed can be reimbursed to your other downline who wants to withdraw.
Here is where you really choose. MONEY or MORAL?

10) Eventually you will realize this whole system is a hamster wheel just by how the management chose to run their network. There Is no point in making money if you lose your time, freedom,
autonomy, and genuine connections.

I eventually chose my autonomy, time & freedom. The same platform that promised me all these, took away everything from me until I choose to walk away.
Though this is not the end. This was an experience that taught me:

1) To have boundaries (Say no & mean it without guilt)
2) Learn about money(loan,income taxes)
3) Distinguish between fake & genuine friends
4) Money is important (VERY). But it can be earned. Whereas time can never be earned.

I too was sick of the lies, dishonesty, double standard, gaslighting I am forced to do daily to my downlines, just like what my upline PPs and KPs are doing to me everyday I'm in Mc Ocean.
Never regret to this day since I decided to walk away from this Pyramid Schime in disguise MLM scarm.

It's the time of the year that the Mc Ocean leaders are all waiting for!
Their chance to drag their dusty old suitcases & their near expired passports & go for their only once in a lifetime overseas vacation (because they are too poor to afford one)

& their destination is... ... Tada! The cheapest tourist destination that Mc Ocean can afford, China! "Yay!!!!"



With Mc Ocean's sales at its all time low + No. of active members declining + Their own lies & dishonesty exploding in their faces, Mc Ocean can only afford to send 30+ of their members to Yunnan. Due to budget constraint OR too embarrassing, not even the founder couple could join this trip.

Last I checked, the trip will only cost RM 4,000.00 per pax. For a Knight Premier (Claimed to earn RM 20K - 100K per month) & a Prince Premier (Claimed to earn >RM 100K per month), small kacang saje kan? Can go at least 5 times a month if they wanted to...

However, the leaders that went to the trip are desperately drooling & thanking Mc Ocean.
Unsurprising, of course ... ... because that income claim was a LIE.

Last time go Turkey, this year go China, Mc Ocean keep downgrading their budget trip every year it seems. Next year cuti-cuti Malaysia perhaps? Hahaha!

For those still active Mc Ocean members that didn't get the chance to go, think for yourselves...

You are the one that spend time, money, energy, burning your bridges (losing friends & families) to try to breakeven the RM 35K you invested in this scarm, by making others drown in the same RM 35K debt traps you are in right now.
While your Upline KPs and PPs, who are all talk, only telling others what to do, are going on vacations sponsored by yours & your downline's RM 35K.

Is this failing business really worth losing your friends and family's trust?

Just wanna know if a person registered and give 2K (but didn't proceed the next stage to apply loan because obviously it's a scam and why wanna do something stupid) can they actually just return the products and get back the remaining cash with a letter of termination? And what is the success rate of doing so and getting back the money?

By right, yes.
The RM 2k of product are most probably sponsored by your Introducer (the one that brought you into this scarm). You can use the 6 months Return Policy that you had signed during registration (Gold Premier Scheme) to demand him/ her to return 90% of the money to you in exchange for those products back.

HOWEVER...

Nowadays, because of the continuous high return rate, Mc Ocean members are became despicable to keep the money in their pockets. They will intentionally ask new members to open the product packaging to "check if the product quality is OK".

By opening the packaging, I'm afraid those products cannot be refunded.

If this is what you are facing, I am sorry for your losing RM 2K to this scarm.
But do not worry, RM 2K still can be earned back in time. The best revenge you can do is to blow the whistle, exposing your Introducer to your mutual friends & families to warn them about this scarmmer.

To understand how much the trip would cost, I used AI to identified the locations they been to, and then crossed check with tour packages on the internet.

The cheapest I can find is from Golden Destinations, which will cost about RM4800+

Assuming, they take the "premium", which will be RM7400+, with with some extra spending throughout the trip, it could be RM8000 to RM8500.

For a company that produced millionaire here and there, a RM8500 trip is not a proper way to reward your "partners".

Thank you for letting me know. I do want to return the products as I did not opened all of them. Still under 10 days cooling period. However I do wish to know what will happen to my registration, like I want out and I do not wish to be a part of this at all. And I am afraid that they might take a loan on my behalf (even that is impossible because I didn't show up after paying 2K but kinda paranoid what they will do as when I was there during the office visit it was all eyes was on me watching my every move)

Banks and Private Finances are also not that stupid to approve loan to them using your personal information.

If you want your money back, demand your Introducer to return you the money in black and white like Whatsapp messages. You can use these message records to file a police report should he/she tried to evade payment.
