heya guys, hps 895 owner here to report. ahahahha

So far, I'm happy wif d 895, but I found dat it works better on my onboard AC97 soundcard rather than my PCI Audiotrak Maya 7.1 soundcard. Anyone knows why? 4d tym being, I keep telling myself dat maybe my Maya does not provide enuff "power" to the 895. since AC97 is an onboard soundcard, thus, it can take more "power" from the mobo to the 895. Pls do correct me if I'm wrong

n how can i do dat? hafta buy n amplifier ar?

will dat b feasible compared to getting a better soundcard dat can support my 895? Shld I think of buying a better soundcard or it is recommendable juz to get an amplifier. Coz I think the soundcard performs ok when I connect my Altec Lansing 45.1 which turn out to sound worse if connected to AC97. In other words,

Altec + Maya =
895 + Maya =
895 + AC97 =
Altec + AC97 =
