I I Captian Telitubbies PcWork. tongue.gif
Actually is yeah_guyz MS2i poisoned me.
I prefer flat pad than cup.
For source, i'll choose PC as my source la.
Other than that, what should i get for source?
Bah! Nice to meet you again during PcFair today. biggrin.gif

Source is something like reputable CDP, soundcard, Fubar, ZL etc etc. Not just your pc. unless you want to use the intergrated sound card.

nah. just the tape that i use to hold it in shape when i melt the plastic during process of reparing it.
lazy to take it off, as part of it actually stick to the plastic already. except if i am hardworking enough to take it off and give that part of plastic a nice polish. i think i am lazy for that.
just leave it.

will use this cans to dog fight with walabies MS2i. not in term of sound quality. but in term of banging head.. hahaha...

you sounded sarcastic don't you? I own the SR80 for quite some time and i got used to its sound signature (since i'm in front of my PC for over 12 hours/day, life as a programming student is tough). Moreover Grado has a very distinct and unique sound signature; so the sonic differences were obvious when it comes to comparison with other headphones. But if you ask me to compare SR80 to SR125 or 225, i don't think i can differentiate them easily.

@naruto_kun, it is modded 890 that sounds like a SR80, confirmed by iahos, CooLeRthings, and Hanxz.

Here comes another grado boy... tongue.gif
I have to agree with yrh as the Grado sound signature is very 'special', more so if you went up to the hill, the acoustic created between your ears are just memorable. If you are able to create a similar signature, congrats, and you can write email to Grado and tell them to create a new model using the more comfortable HP890 model.
I too also cant differentiate SR60, SR125 and SR80. They sounded too similar. Just SR125 has slightly brighter signature. I asked the shop and they claimed that after the burn in the sound signature will evolve and matured. Which I am quite believe so, as the shop's SR60 sounds better than SR125 (new set nod.gif )! Plenty of burn in potential these Grados has.
As for SR225 and higher, they can be easily differentiated. 225 has 'rock-ier' sound and 325 is just bleeding bright/but nice clarity.
