Haha.. Just cut botak and nomore problem. SOmehow i found tat most headphone-philes  are botak...

Finally my SHP895 finished burnt in. Sounds dam great , but the high is still harsh , think i need more burn in then. ACcording to Davis , it only needs 40 hours , i dont think its enough right?

I thought the headphone is for your brother as birthday gift how come ending you are the one listening to it?
*This kind of reason I heard thousand times already. 
Approximate 40 hours but doesn't apply to everything, that's why I suggest you listening it through out sometimes to realise it.

my hp895 is starting to breakdown the shiny plastic between the pad and the spring

less than 1 year i think... used like 2-3 hours a week, bought from mikechai...
these 'defects' any warranty ah?

128kbs mp3 - nice

1100kbs flac - very dull n very not nice

You won't know the quality of the FLAC you have when you downloaded it from some one sharing point.

May be it's just port over from Mp3 source to FLAC and most of the tepi jalan audio CD also Mp3 port over to CD format.

Hmmmz.. let me rephrase.. ...Im juz wondering does that happened to those "velvet" looking ones... coz this my first headphones that has that..

Okiez, i have 'warm-up' my SHP895 for 40hrs liaoz... i gotta say, definately better than my previous headphones which its AltecLansing's AHP512 ..heh

More comfortable, due bigger ear-cups , better balance of treble & bass too.. 

And lastly, really nice 'stand' for it.. heh
