Is is HP1000 a bit hard to drive? Means HP amp is needed then only can max out its performance?

32 ohms impedence still OK. You don't need an amp to drive it but with amp any headphones/earphones will sounds better.

yeah. and i just got my koss kcs75, still HP890 sounds a lot better =P but consider the price of koss, of course, it worth very much for it's price. |

erm.. anyone knows the difference in this big earphones to those canals ones? i think tht the canals one provide more bass while this provides better sound clarity.. is tht rite? correct me if i am wrong thankx |

I know HP1000 can produce very low bass up to 5Hz but my Rotel integrated still have no enough ooohm to drive it.
