Hi, I wanna ask. How's the agent commission like in Johor?

I come across 2 agents

Agent A told me seller 1% and buyer 1%

Agent B told me seller 2% and buyer 1%

I was like ....


In KL, I am also lost.

Some agents told me is seller 2%, buyer 0%

Then another agent told me seller 3%, buyer 0%

So, how is the agent commission like in Johor and KL?


Please help as I do not want to be cheated by those irresponsible agents.

Johor im not too sure...
but in KL mostly is 2% from seller & buyer pay nothing...
but if your property is very hard to find purchaser which involve 3rd or 4th parties or agents...then paying 3% is acceptable...

Yeah, KL 2% or 3%.
From what I knew, Johor it's like share share, both of seller and buyer also have to pay agent fee, the actual proportion I'm not sure.

i used to pay 2% when my properties sold by a agent.

Two % by seller for property 1 million n below.no more or less. Say all

What if above 1 million?

In KL :

Property price below RM100K standard RM3K
Property price below RM500K standard 3%
Property price above RM500K standard 2%

All this are adjustable depending on seller want give how many percentage to the agent but usually is 2-3%.
