Owh, that's a hard decision. Math Addmath and Account was some of the most useful subjects after you've graduated SPM if you're find a work with it.

Anyway, since you've dropped addmath, no time to regret with it and move on.
You can't do much with a SPM cert nowadays, at least get along a Diploma or Degree.
Because there is tooooooo much people is able to graduate with SPM, the competition is too big.

Not only SPM, most fresh graduates in Diploma might find difficulties to compete with the large number of Degree holder nowadays.

without add math you cannot do anything science related field. you can only proceed in finance, business, art etc. btw, i thought you only drop/select subjects when you fill up a form(dunno whats its name.) ? i think you can still take add math. but you have to work more. only few months left. seriously, without add math, the only rhing i can see u doing is finance, graphic design, business and thats all. CMIIW.

If you have money, the everything is not a problem.
You can study in any field you like as long as you can pay the tuition fee in any private college.
Get a decent recognized degree cert and no one will care about you SPM anymore.

yes. just a waste. maybe if you are good in bio and chemy you can try medicine or dentistry. but i think that too requires add math to join their courses.

so you took bio, chem, physics without addmath? that's pretty redundant hmm.gif , but you could try accounting though, only basic arithmetic and algebra required. Btw you're LoL player brows.gif

yes, provided if you work hard enough. eventhough you drop your add math now, just study it because you gonna need it during foundation courses. FYI, add math SPM is a joke. add math is just math in tertiary level.

What a waste. No add math means you are totally rule out from any science related courses. Art courses, like accounting , law, business,is suitable for you. Yes it means u take bio, chemistry, and physics for no reason, ur spm cert will worth like ppl from arts stream. No u don't have the slightest to be take up medic and dentistry. To take this courses add math is a must be fore entering pre-u level. Is a must thave add math as most med school min requirement is a b in add math. Plus spm add math are basic to pre-u level math. Why not stop thinking of having the slightest chance to enter medical school and start thinking of taking business or accounting courses. Lots of great opportunity and careers out there waiting for u to explore, being a doctor /dentist is not always good.

if you have 5 credits, you should still be able to enter foundation and enroll in almost any course you want. hmm.gif no?

for example,
Cambridge A level requires 5 credits including english and maths/science. shouldn't be a problem.
and most foundation course only requires 5 credits including english, maths and 2 science subjects.
from there, enroll in the course of interest. Do make sure your course of interest accept the A-level/foundation cert before enrolling.

You *can* do subjects like Economics or Finance at university without Additional Maths at SPM - depending on which school, not all will allow it - but you have to think of each step (for you the next step is Pre-U). Basically if you have Maths at Pre-U then not having Add Maths doesn't matter quite as much. But you will then have to work very hard during Pre-U (this is not as hard, as there certainly will be a lot of new things anyway - catching up Maths in uni or Further Maths in A Level is probably way harder).

You can even major in Finance without Maths... as long as you stay away from Financial Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Computational Finance, Computational Economics, Mathematical Finance, Mathematical Economics, Econometrics...

Your teacher deserves to have her car scratched. Stupid lady just worried her record might suffer if students fail or don't do well. The fact is Add Maths is very doable, especially the actual SPM. Nowadays teachers care about their statistical performance so much so they discourage everyone like.... vmad.gif

You mean we can study any top college with money, eg taylor, help, sunway. Not all college accept money, only the lousy one. I also got money to study but i didnt meet their requirement so they reject me. So, money is not for good colleges.

Which line of work...well it depends on which field you want to be in after SPM.
You can go for psychology. Add maths is not required but it is pretty helpful if you have a background of bio and chem smile.gif
