The stick on type is actually your dampening sheet thus technically its thicker as compared to the dampening paste. Of course you can get the dampening paste done to be as thick as the dampening sheet as well but its gonna cost you more.

Its not at all applied on the plastic cover. Its only on the wheel arch that bares the body metal. The plastic (Daun Pisang) I didn't do and was told not necessary as well....

Definitely can do in the rear as well. I will be doing my rear arch next week....

i see.... i tot need the plastic cover to prevent it heat the sound proof material also....
or that dampering material is weather proof type?

Its as tough as it gets....no need to worry about insulating the heat.
