For those with sub-par battery life:

I know some users are reporting more than 2 days standby and averaging 4-5 hours of screen on time.

Was on stock ROM when I first purchased my S3 and had to charge twice a day for the early part of the first week. Performed a couple of full discharge cycles and battery life was approximately the same as before.

Then decided to load up a custom ROM. Tested out Omega's v9 back then (only because his thread was long and I assumed lotsa users ). Battery life improved but I obtained around 3+ hours screen on time over a days average use. Oh and my definition of average use: web browsing, youtube viewing, games and whatsapp throughout the day. Oh and autosync is on for emails and facebook synced every 4 hours.

I switched over to Checkrom as soon as v4 was released. Loving it so far (fingers crossed). BBS is not reporting any abnormal partial wakelocks. The same usage regimen as above. Performed the usual discharge and wiped battery stats. On my first trial run I obtained almost 5 hours of screen-on time over a 22 hour discharge. Probably not the best around but I'm quite satisfied considering I had to charge twice a day in the beginning. Not sure if it's the ROM, the battery run in time or both
