Lol. To put into retrospect, my S2 had WORSE battery life, and my Jailbroken and overly modded iPhone 4 (before it was stolen) is about the same with the S3. Ditto the Nokia 5800. The N900 had to be run in EDGE mode to get anywhere near S2 running time, much less the S3.
But yeah, geeks will always want a lightning fast phone with infinite running time.

Nope, iPhone4's battery last way much longer than typical Android phones... Back in iOS4 days, I mod kaw2, Dreamboard on top of Winterboard, with all those funky MobileSubstrate tweaks ... On 3G, on average i drop 1% every 3 mins.... Can last for 5 hours of continuous usage...Lol. Now on iOS 5.1.1, almost stock except from Winterboard and some lockscreen, biteSMS, SBrotator and barrel, improve to about 1% per 5 mins which... Lasts about 8 hours...
S2 worse battery life, due to the smaller battery... In fact, S2 is able to win the S3 with the upgraded 2000mAH battery.
N900, lacked power management
5800xm, symbian aren't made to last long except from talk time and standby
