1) AMT Gear
Masalah: Gaer tak masuk, atau susah nak masuk.
Punca: AMT Pump/Accumulator/ECU failure.
Cara Pemyelesaian: Service AMT Pump/Tukar Accumulator/Tukar ECU or Reset ECU setting

2) Coil problem (Old Model)
Masalah: Kereta begerak dalam keadaan jerking (Tersengguk-sengguk).
Punca: Salah satu cable coil bocor.
Cara penyelesaian: Tukar kepada coil version baru jenis asing/potong dan sambung dgn coil iswara.

3) TCD @ Flywheel Sensor
Masalah: Susah nak start
Punca: TDC: Tip kotor/sambungan @ connection longgar - kedudukan nyer dibawah hose water radiator
Cara penyelesaian: Tukar TDC jenis baru/cuci tip sensor/solder diconnection TDC.

4) Power Steering Sensor
Masalah: Minyak power steering bocor @ meleleh di sebelah kanan / minyak akan berkurangan perlu di top up selalu
Punca: Bocor ditengah-tengah connection sensor.
Cara penyelesaian: Tukar sensor renault WAJA 1.8 or Renault Kangroo/boleh seal dgn silicone but on the performance x
sure.

5) Aircond Switch
Masalah: Patah
Punca: Klip tombol suis tak kuat cepat patah
Cara penyelesaian: Temperory boleh guna gam gajah, buat long term kena beli baru dan gantikan.

6) Speedo Meter
Masalah: Meter akan drop sendiri
Punca: Meter dah kondem/bergantung atas keadaan semasa, ada juga yang kena tak sampai 50K atau 3 Tahun.
Cara penyelesaian: Tukar baru.

is the feel of the power steering and gearshifting make it nice to drive....solid...

the parts are cheaps even for the engine gaskets and seals..any pomen like my under tree pomen  know how to open up the engine...the renault d4f is a bullet proof engine.

Lol at no 5.
But seriously Savvy is a nice car to drive if dont have problems.
Handling is superb!
Other than parts, tayar also abit mahal cos the tayar is wider.

175 50 15.. wide? narrow for me. limited choices and stuck with stupid NCT5 sad.gif what size can use?

yo bro

148 000 km ++ , ours 2005 model. How bout yours?

I heard some already had over 200k km.., some myvi's already reach 300k km? mau pecah that 300k km record lol.

Timing belt changed once...other normal wear and tear..

Only had problem 2, 3 - no big deal - DIY clean sensors...spark plug ignition coil localised part is only RM200, non detachable cables.

I only spent a lot on tyres and sport rims..for price that is more than RM500...is a funny thing when people said this car is high maintenance.

mine 2005 with 90K, 1K KM a month only. i have other cars for long distance drives.
savvy shouldnt be a prob at 200k? will keep it longer then rclxms.gif
changed the timing belt at 60K something, too early isit? felt like kena con pulak doh.gif
back in 2007-2009 my car gives sooo many problems and felt regret. resale value also going down the drain. but now this 1-2 years suddenly so nice to drive and problem free rclxms.gif

I'm now using 185/60/14 - cheap and widely avalaible..size is 3.9% larger....sport rims 6'' wide offset 38..after 100k km on 13''..

plan to use 195/50/15..one heck expensive size lol..cos not happy with the 14'' falken ziex 322.
*
wow.. u have tried 13 14 15".. whats the diff may i know? handling etc..

im curious of upgrading to 185 50 15 so that i can get to use michelin PS3 tyres.. is it possible with the current rims?
or better off with 185 60 14 and use Xm2 or CC5? as long as not the NCT5.
