Yes, it's quite a dilemma. Being in a over populated server like SoS means lagging, spending more time in the overflow but the good thing is Dynamic Events is always going on. But on the other hand being on a less populated server means less/no lag but like cheesinium said, Dynamic Events might not occur that frequent.

Anyhoo, just a quick question. Say that SoS will be full prior to the official launching date. Will the creation of a new character (new account to be played on launc day) be blocked/denied on that server indefinitely or will it, sometime later, be opened again for admission? Was thinking to buy another copy, this time, a physical copy for my brother to play. Still can't let go the feeling to own a physical copy eventhough I bought the digital copy lol

I'm sure they'll work out some SLi/Xfire profiles for the game later on. It would suck if it's not. I'm in the same boat as you lol And I sure hope they really work this out

I got my ranger to Lv22 in a very limited time while I was in BWE3. Haven't been grinding on mobs at all... But, I've cleared 100% on 3 maps (hearts quest, vistas, dynamic events and whatnot), some very minimal crafting and also the story mode. And it all get me to 22 without any effort lol

Just to make sure. Do ANet gives a certain period of time to change server for free after creation of a character? I mean, not charged with gems to do so. Let say I'm going to roll a character during the headstart in 25th and by the time my bro wants to join me in my server on the 28th, it's already full and he can't join me. So he rolled in less populated server and surely I would like to join him to his server. Will I be charged if I want to change server by that time or do they give a certain time for us to change server for free?

I mean, cmon, surely those in large guilds with lotsa members would face a certain problem if this happened. Who would want to spend gems in the first day they played? It would be nice if ANet gives us a time, let say a week to change server for free and let the population settle down. Less angry mobs that way I guess Or, did ANet already mentioned about this matter and I failed to notice it?

I'll be rolling a ranger. It's quite fun class imo. Was deciding either guardian or ranger before. After playing the BWE, I decided I'm more towards ranger lol

Just swap pets when they about to die. And it's good you know? You get boon whenever your pet reaches 25% HP, then you swap pet you got another boon (for swapping pet) together with a full HP pet haha after that pet HP falls under 25%, get another boon, swap pet (now pet HP recovered) got another boon. Rinse and cycle XD

Could we just update the players list on the 1st page with the server they going to on launch day? SoS is a designated server for Oceanic players unofficially right? Doesn't mean every lowyatians gonna end up there. So why not we provide which server we gonna go individually? Just my 2 sen.

Of course I meant that, since the 1st page we're pounded that into our head Keep in mind, it's not like some people wants to avoid malaysians or singaporeans or indonesians, or bruneians (is that correct?) or the thais at all I just thinking that since majority of oceanic players (assuming so) gonna go guns and blazing into SoS so do we, so WvW gonna be like long queue for some of us, which is suck lol for me at least XD Some of us still wanna play with some of u guys here PVE and in WvW together So, if we can list down which players gonna go which server, maybe we can arrange to gather in that other server Well, just a suggestion of course ^^

When you chose a server, then all the character you create after that will be stuck in the server you chose initially.

Here's my ping result, using Screamyx 4mb plan;
