@valho Always not enough mats for the gear for equal level for me. Either I sucks or too lazy on gathering tongue.gif I did use as much "discovery new recipe XP" to level up craft tho. sad.gif
*
The only time I went and try crafting, i got not enough mat to make anything haha, so I just give up and do DE and stuff lol. I guess when I start playing at launch I should really go and collect as much as mat as I can while exploring, chop some trees, mine some ores and stuff.

So start game first thing to do is get enough money to get salvage kit and trainer tools. I keep seeing trees, ores etc but didn't buy any tools to chop/mine them.

Yeah all trainers sell those tools, and the bank tab in crafting station makes thing so much more convenient. I remember in GW I always have to double check the amount of mat needed, then go to my chest to take them out, only then can go to crafter to craft armor.

Yeah salvage kit is a little problem, (can we stack them, didn't tried). Can easily burnt hundred of them quickly.

http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Salvage_kit

Logically would be better to just stick to the cheapest one most of the time unless want to salvage anything above GREEN rank.
*
Can't stack them, I tried during BWE3. Good thing is personal story for my human warrior have salvage kits for rewards biggrin.gif

Pro-tips for beginner!

Back in the stress test before BWE1. I was like standing beside copper-node,  hmm.gif for like 3 minutes, and spent 20 minutes looking for gathering tools around the map.  doh.gif
*
For me my warrior was holding an axe and I was standing next to a tree, my first though was, why can't I chop it with my axe lol. Yeah I was wondering where to get the tools as well until I found one of the crafting trainer that sells them.

8 Crafting Discipline to choose from.

[Armorsmith, Leatherworker, Tailor] depending on your class, imo for convenience sake.
[Artificer, Chef, Huntsman, Jeweler, Weaponsmith]

It is said Chef is the most expensive craft to pursue due to ingredients found across the world as said by one of the devs.
*
Armorsmith and weaponsmith should suits my warrior well biggrin.gif

For me it's always warrior first, but quite hard to choose what class my 2nd char will be, I tried engineer, guardian, elemetalist and ranger and found all of them fun.

All classes can heal, and all classes have skills that can heal others as well.

then all classes are pretty much the same. All depends on latency....lol...hopefully there is a Asia server....

they still have other skills that differentiate them from each other, why would all classes be the same just because they all can heal.

Not answering your question, but you did remind me of something back in 2010 that's related to "stuff happened when you're offline."

Ok, here's the catch, we asked on BWE3 on Official forum. The reply is no update on the Apps yet. So it might be still under development.

It was an amazing idea, specially back in 2010. Ping on map, checking events, AH, hero viewer... ... Almost essential to have a smartphone or tablet beside us to be constantly be updated with info in Guild Wars 2.

Imagine all the possibilities which the tech improvement and tech-leap in past 2 years  icon_rolleyes.gif

I like the checking event part, you can check if any meta event going on before you get home, then as soon as you home, quickly can login and join everyone biggrin.gif

I tried solo some part with warrior, more than 1 enemies, and I will be close to dying haha. But good thing is warrior rifle do decent damage, so I could stick to range to take out the mob.

really? I liked bow better. Unless i stack bleeding with dualwield swords. Rifle is kinda slow in killing imo. Bow is more crowd control. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. Lol. Actually after watching many videos. I kinda realize I always did not dodge which leads to down/close to down stage. Hope I dodge properly in release. Which is tmr. AHHHHH I WISH.
*
I didn't really try bow much, since I had always wanted my warrior to use rifle and dual sword biggrin.gif
Warrior rifle is more towards 1 vs 1 though, since all the skill are against single foe, if I get attack by more than 1 foe, I'll really need to dodge and move a lot or I just change back to swords biggrin.gif

Yeah, I know about the conditions and what they stack; intensity or duration. I was asking whether valho was using bleed on mobs and how was it. If you read, I definitely agree that bleed is better in PvP but I'm more of a PvE guy so.

Anyway thanks for the insights.   biggrin.gif
*
Rifle skill 1 for warrior is a bleed, so pretty much every time skill 1 is use, you are stacking bleed smile.gif

Opps click submit too fast, for me yeah rifle works well during PVE, I saw I was actually doing decent damage on a troll champion during one of the event. Against normal mob is no problem, against veteran just need to move and dodge and keep them away from you.

*sigh* Looks like I might not be able to get my CE, so sad. The place I ordered from just inform me few days ago that they might not be able to get the CE, even for those that have paid deposit. I am really unhappy with them, they should have just inform everyone if they are not able to get the CE earlier and I could have ordered it from Amazon.

Is anyone getting the digital deluxe edition or just the digital edition? Is it worth in getting the digital deluxe?
*
Well only 2 items in the deluxe edition is permanent while the rest are 1 time boost. I would prefer to get the CE due to the physical stuff, but it's quite hard to get it now.
