Suddenly thought of this...
Oh yes, any MMO veterans will very familiar with most of those systems in GuildWars2. If I got thing to complaint for real about GW2, it's the SLOW LOADING of the trading post......... It feels like an embedded webpage...
the loading time for guild wars 2 is not very fast also.
i hope it can be as fast as diablo 3 loading time during launch.
would be nice right, I forgot where I read about it though

from past experience, guild wars franchise business model was always about releasing new campaign almost every 6-12 month... do you thing it is going to be the same for gw2..? how long after the launch date do you think we'll have a new gw2 campaign ?
hmmm maybe longer for GW2, since the content does looks larger than GW without it's expansion. I want to have at least time to try out the races and classes that I like. I am curious to know what happen to Canthan and Elona, it was never mention in the novel iinm. So those will be nice expansion
However the trading post is slightly laggy, but I tried using VPN to play few days ago for 3 days close beta and its extremely smooth even in WvWvW with hundreds of players compared to without VPN. The skill are instantaneously no delay, thanks to VPN. The VPN is located at US.San Jose.
I pre-purchased the game and already reserved names for my characters
My guild wars 2 registered account name is gene.3581 , TS please add me ... hope we all can enjoy playing together sometime soon, hopefully someone create a Guild and recruit all Malaysian/LYN players .
BTW anyone know why my time is 10pm but this post show i posted at 11pm? BUG?

i think the long loading time we facing is thx to tmnuts...coz i've watch other live stream..they load into maps in an instant i'd say around 10-15sec only
using Tsunami VPN , 3 months RM30 only.. very cheap.. its not dedicated gaming VPN but I subscribed it and use P2P server for Torrent download one... but I just gatal connect USA San.Jose server "not the download server" and play Guild Wars 2 see and its really much more faster and almost no delay.

I think its about 300ms-350ms without VPN and 150-250ms with VPN, based on my previous gaming experience feeling.
Btw I paid RM258 for Digital Deluxe Version... kinda regret it for paying that much out from sudden surge of desire. Should have pre-order the physical version for RM145, but won't get any pet or skill or hero's band and etc.. . But i'm a fan of Guild Wars 1.... I have to console my self by thinking I supported ArenaNet with more money than others .
I am using WTFast VPN. No way that I know of that can check game latency.
The only way me and my guildies from EU test the respond time is by doing the heart quest in Township of Claypool : Train with the Militia. The shield one do give a good chance to check the respond. Don't time the shield block, block when he just about to attack you. So far, I still can do at least 3/5 shield blocks. So, that's acceptable.
No choice, guardian and warrior are given good shield counter skill, we have to master it
Theres a way to check the ping : Run command prompt and run ping command for [206.127.158.1] and [64.25.39.1] without brackets. These are some of the server IP.
I got the IP by playing the game when close beta and launch command prompt and input these commands netstat -n -p tcp -b | more ...and you get the server IP you are connected to.
Alternatively, you can also find some software that runs on background and trace the server IP you are connected when playing Guild Wars 2... such as this software http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/cports.html .. there are some software that can even trace the server IP and real time ping it for you automatically..but not important la.. since you can ping it your self using command prompt.

Ah. That way. I tried using Pingplotter before BWE1, but totally forgot about it when BWE started. Silly me. Thanks for reminding.

Look at the result I get right now. Look at the routing and avg latency before reaching Texas, USA. This is not even reach the server yet (which should be higher). IP gotten from ArenaNet diagnostic utility.
Is it even normal to route to Amsterdam first?
