Former graphic designer sues FAM for loss of eye due to firecracker

KUALA LUMPUR: A former graphic designer has filed a suit for RM776,000 against the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), claiming that its negligence caused him to lose his right eye and his income.

Ahmad Jazimin Mohd Jalaludin, 30, has also named the Selangor police chief, the Inspector-General of Police and the Government as defendants in his suit.

In his statement of claim, Ahmad said he was at the football match between Malaysia and Singapore football at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil, organised by FAM on July 28 last year.

He said that at about 8.45pm, a firecracker from the spectator seats had fallen and exploded by his right eye, causing him to suffer serious injury.

Ahmad claimed that FAM, as the organisers of the event, had the responsibility to ensure the safety of the spectators and carry out proper safety procedures.

Subra & Bunya agak teragak-agak.. Tp aidil agak commanding kat belakang! Hopefully dia akan sentiasa injury-free!

Player substitute Malaysia sayur... Overall kite main ok kecuali lps smua sub-sub secara besaran2 dilakukan oleh RG.. haishhh.. kenape lah tak maintain je kecuali player tuh injured...

Jap aku ingatkan kite ade Asrarrudin? Ke dia injured gak? Solid Leftback but not as fancy as Azmi Muslim..

Aku rase Gary lah player yang paling underrated skali.. Orang jarang puji dia, sbb dia buat kerja dia senang.. Tapi dia ni mmg feveret player aku

Simple pass & winning ball.. Slack dia ni kadang2 injury prone, klau tgk waktu harimau muda main liga-S pon dia antara midfield paling perform, much more consistent than Nazmi..

Tapi dia still young and byk masa depan, tp yelah player mcm Gary ni team luar mane yg nak sign, dia tak fancy and tak menyerlah, style ala-ala Makelele.

He is just doing his job by cleaning up the shit done by his team mate (lossing ball) and pass the ball to more creative player.. In other word, Gary is Our Makelele!

Tapi aku rase against Man City, it's going to be totally different story. Arsenal nye player td byk budak-budak kecik, tak proven pon dlm EPL.. Man City has more seasoned player compared to arsenal.

Hopefully, cuaca panas & lembap akan membantu kite. And hopefully RG will do some good tactics untuk menyekat Man City.. 4-4-2 memang bagus utk menyerang, tp smalam 2 forward atas jarang dapat bola, tapi to make up that Safee Sali pon byk turun and play as no 10.. kadang2 drop deep sampai tengah..
