i think you can dl any language from battlenet, just need the key to activate your account.

i think the key has locked langauges select already.In mind i dunno true or not.

i am not that sure because D3 is not lock to any region, as long as you have the account, you can play any server, any language.
but for Chinese it might be difference?
i myself bought an EU version, but i download US version to play and i have change to some language that i dont know read before.

i think only Asia version has the problem.eu work well

you need a cd key to activate your Bnet D3.

You can download D3 Eng from Battle.net.

* A DVD cannot fill in all the language file. BUT BUT BUT
you can download all the language file from the Battle.net.

* That is why the Chinese Version DVD so hard to sell, ppl scare cannot install English....

NO, This is incorrect. I am not sure about the chinese version. But they have Limited the Russian Edition to make it only available in russian.

SO there is a high chance that you are limited to chinese if you buy this.
