Guys, I know this is a silly question to ask but please bear with me..what's actually VPN? I saw it in iPad setting..I'm currently having the VPN turned on in my iPad but i wonder what is its function? Will it be useful for normal user like me?thanks.

Some of us who's working remotely or outside office need to connect to our LAN (Local Area Network) at office so we use VPN connection to connect

So which VPN provider r u using currently? I'm using hotspot shield for ios for 7 days free trial now..planning to subscribe to permanent one..I googled it and returned with service providers such as HMS VPN, strong VPN, VPN express, VyprVPN, etc. Any recommendation?

How much per month ?

I' m using hotspot VPN..$0.99 per month or 9.99 per year..but I heard it slows ur internet connection for around 20% but to me I still found the same..HMS VPN has more server worldwide including Malaysia but cost you $6.55/month if you subscribe 12months..

i'm using my own office VPN. We just use VPN to connect to our office's LAN if working remotely
