If you have an interest in the full coverage of this fashion show, please visit my official published work here

I would really appreciate it if you can let your thoughts be known to me in this thread after you have seen my work =)

After thoughts

Being a manual focus lens, it is in this event that I truly tested my new 14mm to its fullest. And judging by the colors and the perspective that it affords, I think it shall mark my passage from shooting with my nifty fifty to a wider angle as well haha =) I love this new perspective !

As for the fashion event itself, I am actually fortunate enough to be invited to this fashion show. I have always been a fan of this fashion designer as his designs are beyond convention and inspires me to try to imagine more. If you want to see more of his designs u can see the full publish coz here I mainly post the photos i like haha documentation of the event is more towards the main publish la. U can also see the designer's works in the credits section.

For me I chose these 5 pictures because I feel that it captures the subliminal energy and the chemistry and dynamics of the event. Plus I am particular fond of that model in the purple winged costume haha shes a lively one !

You know what means by infinity focus? Why you use that in this situation?

this is probably the best of what you've posted here so far. good try.

the flaw is that you're at a position that's not helpful in runway shoot and it's all wide.

What you meant was hyperfocal. But at F2.8 16mm your hyperfocal distance would be that of somewhere around 4-5m, but in this case I dont think that's where you're aiming... hmm.gif

Actually is after the max distance, and this is my first time seeing people using infinity focus for event shooting, so I wonder what is the advantage of using infinity focus at this situation.

hmm ... my lens is actually superwide

It seems that its reached infinity focus at about 1.5 - 2 actual meters like that ( but i crop sensor la )

but on the lens it says 3 meter max distance la

just fix the shutter speed for such event, and let the camera do the ISO job once you have defined your f/#
