I have changed my front tyre to a pair of yokohama s-drive last month, now I want to change the rest 2 old tyre (should change 4 of the tyre sekali gus but I din), so should I use same brand yoko s drive? Coz I feel mic ps3 more good in reviews, if front use s drive, rear use mic ps3, will cause any effect? 80% highway 20% city, my concern is quiet, good grip in dry and wet...

Although best recommended to use 4 same tyres, but its still okay if u running 2 front wheel with same brand and spec tyres (changed same time so the wear and tear was even for both left and right) and the other 2 rear tyres with another brand spec.

Conclusion : front no nit same with rear, but both left and right must be same, in term of brand, spec and change. Dun change just 1 tyre. The grip will be different if both left and right using different and in higher speed might cause u to lose control.

Only use 4 same tyres of same brand and model if 4wheel drive. If front or RWD doesnt really matter

i am using a 16 x 6J 16" rim that has stock 185/55/R16, its a honda city. Most owners mention that they can be changed to 205/50/R16 but usually they change it all four tyres one shot. Due to budget constraints, i was thinking is it possible to change the rear to 205 then later when the front 185 wears out then i change it to 205 also. Any ideas ?
