i learned very sifu himself, YAB Lim. his grandpa story is very helpful. the clue is wind not strong, mileage 60K. long time no service cabin filter.
we learned that reading, making friends, waste time in blog/forum can benefit us.
moral of the story, do check to service cabin filter from time to time eg. every 15K km.

1k, 5k, 10k also use 10W-40 or 10W-30 Semi syn EO. after that, if want service every 5k, use semi syn. if want service every 10k, use full syn.

me opt for semi syn service every 5k because it takes me around 5 month to service every 5k.
my 5k service : sept 2011, 10k service : april 2012. 15k service : expected late august/ early september. now around 1k to complete 15420 k mileage. last night meter 14141.

i think need check ourselves, such as we checked the wiper water storage, coolant water storage, battery water level and so on. preventive measures. plus a knowledge for car owners, right? last time blackorange got problem with the cabin filter, and we, not the car expert also can solved the problem. summore education about water repellent, strut bar etc.
