Plan to upgrade my ICE and need to test 1st;

Looking at entry level Focal Access components, is the aluminum tweeters sound too harsh?

RM2.5k for component speakers, 4 channel amplifier, and HU.

RM1.5-2k for components and amp.

you can get focal ps165 and a decent 2ch amp to power it withing your budget....dun really bother about the access, get something better since u got the budget...

why u planning to get 4 channel when u only need it for component?
not planning to get subwoofer?

I've got a bass tube woofer - enough cos my car is a hatch.

Maybe get a better 2-channel amp and use my current 4-channel amp to drive the woofer?

if i were you i'll take new p80 prs headunit , focal ps165 then wait until got budget like around 2k get a decent 2 chn amp ! my opinion la !

since you said upgrade, what is ur current setup bro? what HU u are using now?

Yes that HU seriously in my mind also...I could go along this route. Is the HU power enough to drive the focal and let my current cap ayam amp to drive the subwoofer?

All cap ayam stuffs, fake Lanzar 2way components and fake 4 channel V12 MRV amp and a 8'' tube woofer. I've been contend with this setup for 4 years. HU is Kenwood kdc-u353.

i believe u will be damn happy after u install with the 80prs and the focal if u can stand the previous setup for 4 years...hehe
