Good day to all the master of ICE!

I need some recommendation on Brands and places to instal my brew Audio setup. My new Camry is coming next month, I am planning to install a reasonably good audio setup for it.

Since my Camry is already pre-installed with a head unit that comes together with reverse sensor and so. I don't think I will be changing that.

The things that I am planning to change are the
1. Front Speakers
2. Amplifiers
3. Sub-woofers

My budget is about RM 3,000 to RM 4,000.

I am staying around PJ area, please share some of your experience with the local shops. And recommend me some too. smile.gif

Thank you so much!!!

Victor from Audio Creations (carcrazy)

Or

Howie from EA Autoworks (howiechoo)

Both very reputable ICE installers, can go to any of them to get a quotation smile.gif

I think you better audit the stock Camry setup first then just make the decision.

very healthy budget, can opt for a mid range component set, get a 4channel amp and subwoofer.

then soundproofing on the doors, and perhaps trunk for the subwoofer if you can stretch budget a bit

Yeah, was thinking about that too as I am not very sure about the quality of the pre-installed had unit. Hmm..

Yeah, trying to instal a reasonably good setup for my car. :-) Trying to find out what are the reliable and quality brand, as many of the speakers and amp may seems expensive but the quality is not up to the standard. =/

Soundproof is a good idea, I wonder how much are they if I were to instal them in all four doors and the back.

Yeah, the head unit comes together with the high spec package. Only the 2.5 has it.

so, if budget about 3-4k, wat u can do is changing spk and add in amplifier. after that, time for sub...since u dunwan change headunit...

if u wan a very good sound without changing headunit, you can try audio control lc7....we use it to make your oem hu sound like higher end model without changing it..

Added on July 23, 2012, 2:04 pmbtw, dun forget soundproof, it helps a lot for a good sound
