QUOTE(FoxSeaTiger @ Jul 20 2012, 02:31 PM) Ofcoz la can buy at google play. If u have kredit kad, that u can buy them la. ... I saw ppl sell this phone at garage sales. Try hard dude lots of phone shops still selling this phone. No need to buy at google play. Buy at google if warranty how? Need fork out money and waste time sending back to them. Here somemore warranty from samsung. Just don't buy AP set. Also I have update to yakju and now in 4.1.1 jelly bean!! Haha..nice talking to android...she tell me a lot about my manglish sucks. BTW, I have problem using Wug's Nexus Root Toolkit. The APB command keep on hang each time it is run by the toolkit. I had to manually force the apps to close. I would recommend people to use the other nexus root toolkit. I forgot the name but shouldn't be hard to find. That one uses dos environment rather than gui system. if you like to play with modding of roms and rooting stuffs then nexus is for you because this one is basically created for people who like to fiddle around with their phones.
However, if you just want a smartphone for it's smartphone features and would like to stick to stock firmware then get s3 or oneX. Both S3/oneX is have better hardware specs and upgrade to jellybean is just a matter of time.

QUOTE(hianz86 @ Jul 20 2012, 04:37 PM) of all the hp shops in KL, pertama kompleks is the worst. Later you go there, they FORCE you to buy the AP set. Surround you with gangsters until you buy. This is really true story heard from this forum.

i installed superuser without rooting my phone. I wanted to check whether the phone is rooted. Then realize it is not rooted then I root it. After rooting it have supersu which is the main one being used. Usage seems to be fine as supersu will prompt whenever apps need root access. So I just want to know if I should remove superuser or just keep it like that since it is not doing any harm.

QUOTE Your laptop got 3GB ram. Always 3GB free? Available ram is close to 700MB. It's 1GB. The disappeared portion is reserved by system. I am comparing it with ainol novo7 tablets, aurora 1 and aurora 2, both also 1gb ram. Max free i can see using ES Task explorer is 600mb. But this max free of 400mb on galaxy nexus. 200mb difference is a lot. Just wondering if everyone else is getting this. If yes then I am fine with it. Just want to make sure it's not due to something I installed.

QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Jul 20 2012, 05:54 PM) The question is... Do you feel the lag on Nexus? I don't really care about how many MB ram left in my Nexus now. I do care previously when I'm using Galaxy W because it's just 512MB. Aurora 1/2 which version of rom? The light version without any additional apps? Or factory version. And... are you comparing to New Aurora?? (What I mean is... Brand new out of the box without installing apps or using it for prolonged time) You can always check the cached process or running services see which one eats all the RAM. You can kill them too but I don't bother doing So far haven't really played enough nexus yet. No lag yet. I understand what you are trying to say. But this is not what I am asking. I usually just use ES task explorer to kill all task. This is good enough no need to play so much with killing processes one by one. That is too extreme already. Waste of time also.

QUOTE(mikeeeee @ Jul 20 2012, 06:10 PM) My max free never exceed 200mb during normal circumstances and I'm happy with it cuz it just means apps are properly cached wherever they are needed. In fact most of the time it hovers around 100-130mb. ok, that's what I wanted to know. Thanks!!

QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Jul 24 2012, 05:40 PM) Sell RM10 earn RM7? I don't really have one yet. I would look at quality and user feedback. You know la... Lowyat is such a big market. USB OTG alone got like almost 10 sellers. Price from 7~15. I need the right 'feel' from the cable to satisfy me. Else it feels cheap in my hand Ok..I think RM10 then. Since 10 is right about middle between 7-15. A bit on the cheaper side... Who is selling RM7? Got link? Wanna compare quality.

QUOTE(djlah @ Jul 27 2012, 11:12 AM) I'm using Super Video. if you need to play all type video format, can add Vitamio plugin. hey guys, beside BAMF, any other rom have theme chooser feature support? Hmm...this vitamio plugin is software based decoder. But super video looks promising. Does it have ads? As for dice player, it have ads...yuck. Does the hardware decoder works in dice?
