If AP, it's possible that it has Yakju build which you can then just update on your phone through wifi to 4.1.1.

If Ori SME, no way. Maybe you will get 4.0.1 or 4.0.2. 4.0.4 is rare. 4.1.1 is impossible

nah not really possible for us, unless u have a US resident address or u can ask US forwarder company to buy for u...

however, its totally not worth due the the price.....better to buy in malaysia itself and flash urself....

Don't buy from Google Play. I don't know how to buy but I believe considering the shipping to Malaysia and the risk that you get taxed by Custom (it's a phone with GSM capability. It'll get taxed). It's better for you to get locally. Also the warranty issue...
Btw, getting ori sme is not a big issue. Just flash to 4.0.4 Yakju then hit software updates in Settings. You will be updated to 4.1.1 instantly (1XXMB of downloads though)

Mobile phones has ZERO taxes and ZERO duties in Msia. But you need to pay sirim permit RM 100 if holdup at customs to bring it in. Very leche procedure to get Sirim Permit. If courier do on your behalf, good. If not you have to go to Shah Alam Sirim office to apply permit
