Have you ever used your thesis proposal as a conceptual paper to be presented in a conference?

Is there a risk for others to copy your ideas and what if they got it published even faster than you?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Yes, it is rather risky imho... especially if your idea is valuable..
Which is why people don't like to reveal too much until the paper is published; idea/product is patented hmm.gif

Exactly. That's what I'm worried about.

yes, that is exactly the risk. so, do not do the mistake. wait til you research is completed and thesis is approved OK and published. after that you can break the thesis to a few smaller parts and present as conceptual paper. will work better and it can be traced back to you.
